1. Service description
MizanCompta is a B2B software platform for accounting firms and professional users. The service helps users upload PDFs and images, process invoices, receipts, contracts, purchase orders, delivery notes, and similar business documents, select pages and fields, preview extracted data, and export structured outputs such as Excel files.
MizanCompta does not provide accounting, tax, legal, financial, or professional advisory services. Any information extracted or generated through the platform is a processing aid and must be reviewed by the user before business or professional use.
2. User accounts
You are responsible for keeping account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date. Accounts are intended for business and professional use only.
We may restrict or suspend access if we reasonably believe an account is being used in violation of these terms, poses a security risk, or may harm the service or other users.
3. User responsibilities and acceptable use
You agree to use the platform lawfully and only with documents you have the right to process. You must not upload malicious files, attempt to bypass security or usage limits, reverse engineer the service, overload the platform, or use it to process unlawful, infringing, or highly sensitive data without appropriate authority and safeguards.
4. Uploaded document ownership
You retain ownership of the documents, images, extracted text, and business data you upload or generate through MizanCompta. You grant the MizanCompta platform operator the limited rights necessary to host, store, process, analyze, convert, and deliver outputs for the service you request.
You are responsible for verifying that you have the right to upload documents and for obtaining any required permissions from clients, employees, suppliers, or other third parties.
5. AI/OCR processing and accuracy
The platform uses OCR and AI-assisted extraction. OCR and AI results may be incomplete, inaccurate, duplicated, misclassified, or formatted incorrectly, especially when source files are blurry, handwritten, incomplete, compressed, rotated, or contain complex layouts.
You must review all extracted data, formulas, classifications, and export files before using them for accounting, reporting, filing, payment, tax, legal, or operational decisions. MizanCompta does not guarantee error-free extraction or acceptance by any authority, client, software provider, or payment system.
6. Subscription plans, credits, payments, and refunds
Access to some features may depend on subscription plans, usage credits, page limits, file-size limits, or other commercial restrictions displayed in the platform. Prices, plan benefits, credit rules, and limits may change prospectively.
Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. Unless required by law or expressly stated in a written offer, fees and consumed credits are non-refundable. If a technical failure prevents delivery of a paid processing task, we may, at our discretion, re-run the task, restore credits, or provide another reasonable remedy.
7. Service availability and changes
We aim to provide a reliable service, but availability may be affected by maintenance, infrastructure incidents, third-party providers, network issues, security events, or usage spikes. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features when needed for security, compliance, performance, or product improvement.
8. Intellectual property
MizanCompta, the software, interfaces, workflows, designs, model integrations, documentation, and related materials are owned by the MizanCompta platform operator or its licensors. These terms do not transfer any intellectual property rights to users except the limited right to use the service according to these terms.
9. Third-party services and limitation of liability
The platform may rely on third-party providers for hosting, storage, AI processing, email delivery, analytics, and payment processing. We are not responsible for third-party outages, policy changes, or errors outside our reasonable control.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MizanCompta and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or lost-profit damages, or for professional decisions made based on unreviewed OCR or AI outputs. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by you for the affected service during the period required by applicable law.
10. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for non-payment, security risks, legal requirements, or material breach of these terms. Termination does not affect rights and obligations that by their nature should continue, including payment obligations, confidentiality, intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitations of liability.
